We are happy to announce that our new employee Mr.Fabian Dietrichs supports our workforce in the areas application technology and distribution since the 1st of January 2012.
Mr. Dietrichs is a qualified boat bulider and has profound knowledge of the handling and processing of fibre-reinforced components, which he gained through the practice of vacuum infusion, vacuum bagging, autoclave technology, prepreg processing, thermoplastic deep-drawing as well as mold and die production. After the initial training at our office in Hamburg Mr. Dietrichs will take over the customer and project support for the post code areas 0-5. You can contact Mr.Dietrichs via this email adress directly: f.dietrichs@hacotech.com

A few days ago our Mr. Tramnitz had the pleasure of undergoing a root canal treatment at the dentist. There he got to know a new application area for fibre-reinforced plastics, which we would like to tell you about:
Nowadays severely damaged crowns and/or root canals are permanently stabilised through adhesively fixed fibreglass pins in the root canals.
A great advantage of this method is the fact that the material binds well with the root and through sealing the canal with plastic filling material further penetration of bacteria into the canal is prevented.
Towards that the stability of the fiberglass pin protects against root fractures.
The fiberglass pin applied here is a compound with an epoxy resin matrix manufactured in the poltrusion process.
Similar to the industrial application both the tooth and the pin are treated with a silan-primer and the pins are moulded in the tooth with a PMMA-resin.

Our move into a new, bigger warehouse enabled us to extend our storage capacity considerably in order to continue to react to customer´s oders as flexible as usual.
Towards that a cold storage cell has been installed in the new warehouse, which allows us to stock large amounts of chilled goods (such as Prepegs).

Due to the high demand we are already planning the next workshop on the subject vacuum infusion. Here we offer interested users the possibility to acquire or deepen the knowledge and skills to conduct vacuum infusion. During the workshop a mould for a 21" sailing yacht will be produced by vacuum infusion. The workshop will take place from 09.-10. May 2011 in Hamburg. As the number of participants is limited, we ask for a timely registration. Further information on price and course of the action can be obtained upon request. Feel free to contact us: info@hacotech.com.

During the 51. International Boat Show Hanseboot 2010, which be held from 31.October - 07.November 2010 on the grounds of the Hamburg Messe, the new Rhepro 21 shall be presented for the first time. Since the beginning of the construction and planning HACOTECH has been supporting this ambitioned youth project of the sailing club SC RHE (www.sc-rhe.de). Throught the supply of fibres and vaxuum equipment we help the young boatbuilders realise work. It was almost a year ago that we prepared the infusion of the hull and deck together. Todey we can see an outstanding result and we are looking forward to the first sailing reports! You can see Rhepro 21 in hall A4, both C.121!

We are happy to be able to present you our new prepreg range. The various prepregs (low- to hightemperature prepreg) can be manufactured in different material combinations with our standard fabric typres (glass fabric, carbon fabric) according to customers' request.
Particularly noteworthy is the HACOPREG LTP180 a lowtemperature prepreg, which can already be cured at 45°C and can reach a TG of 180°C after demoulding through post-curing.
Further information, especially regarding the possible material combinations can be found here.

HACOPEEL-X3 is an advancement of the already established HACOPEEL-X2. Both fabric types are a combination of peel ply, perforated foil and suction fleece, which lead to considerably more effective working hours in the vacuum bagging process.
Compared with HACOPEEL-X2, HACOPEEL-X3 distinguishes itself by leaving behind a rough surface on the component after being removed, on which one can immediately laminate or glue.
December 2009
In the course of a customer presentation on the 10 december 2009 we introduced a new development of the Canadian company ATC Formulated Polymers Inc., to whom we act as retailing partner. Poly-Fair T28 is a shapeable polyester paste, which is used to produce models and moulds. It distinguishes itself through easy processing, a high fault tolerance and comparably low investments in the manufacturing equipment.
For many years ATC has been formulating high-class, polyester resin based products, which until now have primarily been used in yacht construction. It is our goal, to -next to yacht construction- open up other industries, as the products also offer utilizable benefits for other application areas.

Oktober 2009
During the course of a youth support project of the sailing club RHE e.V. we produced the hull for the self-developed hightech sailing yacht Rhepro 21, with a length of 6,40m via vacuum infusion. HACOTECH was responsible for the organistaion and practical application of the vacuum infusion. The hull is a sandwich construction which consists of PVC foam, glass fabrics and epoxy resin. After an infusion of only 60 minutes the hull was fully soaked.

September 2009
With immediate effect we deliver vacuum foils up to 12 m in un-welded quality. These foils are particularly suitable for boatbuilding and rotor blade manufacturing.

We´ve expanded our product range!
HACOPOX Epoxifuge is an innovative joint sealant, which is made of quartz sand in combination with epoxy resin and curing agent. It is used for permanent, water permeable joint sealing of natural stone, bricks, concrete block and tiling. Both interior and exterior use is possible, whereby it prevents washouts as well as weed infestations.
We offer HACOPOX Epoxifuge in 25 kg bundles(25 kg quartz sand + resin + curing agent). HACOPOX Epoxifuge is available in different grain sizes and colours

New to our assortment!
HACOPEEL-X2 is a combination of peel ply, perforated foil and suction fleece. It is perfectly suitable for the vacuum bagging process. Additionaly the use of HACOPEEL-X2 results in more effective working hours, as the layer stack only consits of one instead of the previous three layers.
HACOPEEL-X2 is available in 150 g/m², 250g/m² and 400g/m².
