Chopped strand mat

Chopped strand mat is a non woven reinforcement fibre for the production of fibre-reinforced plastic. They consist of cut and non oriented 50mm long E-glass strands. Product properties:

● even thickness and distribution of fibres

● high plasticity and resin impregnation properties

● good mechanical properties

● easy to cut

Continuous filament mat

Mat made of continuous fibreglass filaments, randomly orientated in multiple layers. This product is especially suited for compression molded laminates, as well as electrical and non electrical laminates. It is also very suitable for pultrusion, infusion or injection procedures (e.g. RTM, S-RIM or Matched Die Molding). Contains an insoluble binding agent for unsaturated polyester, epoxy and polyurethane compatibility in unfilled or filled resin systems.

Available as powder or emulsion mat.
Both products offer a wide range of control regarding stiffness, adaptability, handling and tensile strength.

Fiberglass combi mat - stitched

Fiberglass combi mat - stitched is a sandwich construction made of roving and non oriented strands. It reduces the confection and impregnation expenditure and is suitable for larger and thicker laminates. Fiberglass combi mat - stitched can be cut with the single fibres staying together.

Fibreglass combi mat - needled

Needled combi mat is a volumized fibreglass sandwich construction, which has been joined without chemical binding agents. This type of mat is mainly used for moulds and pultrusion. It is highly drapable, suitable for laminating corners and edges and is easy to cut.
